Maryam Fanni

Maryam Fanni (b. 1988) is a Stockholm-based designer with a PhD in Design from HDK-Valand in Gothenburg.

Place and memory are central themes in Fanni’s artistic practice, which often revolves around public space and the shared city. With a background in graphic design—an art form that is omnipresent—she is particularly interested in printed media and how the everyday and the taken-for-granted shape our communities, perceptions, and dreams.
